How I supervise
A space to think, not just to report.
Supervision with me is less about checking boxes and more about cultivating the kind of reflective practice that sustains a clinical life. We attend closely to the work, but also to you in the work — your countertransference, your blind spots, your edges, your hope.
I think of supervision as a parallel relationship: what we cannot hold in supervision often becomes what our clients cannot hold in therapy. So we make room for everything — the not-knowing, the ruptures, the questions about ethics and identity and power.
Especially suited to
- Clinicians working with trauma and complex trauma
- Therapists working across race, culture and identity
- Trainees on placement seeking integrative supervision
- Qualified therapists in private practice in London
- Clinicians working in high-pressure organisational settings
- Practitioners building a relationally-grounded long-term practice
Beginning
A first conversation, before committing to a supervisory relationship.
We meet for an initial hour to talk about your work, your training and current caseload, and what you're seeking from supervision. If we decide to work together, we'll agree a regular frequency — typically monthly for qualified therapists, more often for trainees on placement.

Supervision in London — your questions.
Are you a qualified clinical supervisor?
+
Yes. I am a trained relational integrative supervisor with substantial clinical experience across the NHS, third sector and private practice, and ongoing supervision of my own. I work with both qualified therapists and trainees.
What modalities do you supervise?
+
I supervise relational, integrative, humanistic, psychodynamic, person-centred and CBT-informed practitioners. My orientation is integrative, so we work with your clinical frame rather than imposing mine.
Do you supervise trainees on placement?
+
Yes. I supervise trainees from a number of London training institutions and provide the documentation and end-of-placement reports they need.
Where do supervision sessions take place?
+
Sessions are offered in person in London and online via secure video for supervisees across the UK. Many supervisees choose a blend depending on travel, caseload and life.
Can you supervise on work with race, identity and culture?
+
Yes — this is a central area of my practice and supervision. I support clinicians working with race-based traumatic stress, intersectional identity and the relational dynamics that show up across difference, including those that involve the supervisor themselves.
Do you offer group supervision?
+
I run small reflective groups for qualified therapists alongside one-to-one supervision. Group supervision is particularly valuable for clinicians who want a sustained peer community as well as individual reflective space.
